Join us each year for a FREE 3-mile run/walk to sites which share the historical stories of Montclair. Combining the knowledge of Montclair Arts Council, the Historical Society and Fleet Feet Sports, this fun family event includes local legendary landmarks like the boulder designating the revolutionary visit of George Washington and his troupes in 1780, the recently restored 1896 Victorian Evergreens, the Van Vleck House and Gardens and more.
The tour ends with light refreshments served in front of the landmark 1796 Israel Crane House and 1894 Clark House. Its a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fun, fitness and local history with Fleet Feet and your family.
This year's 2nd Annual Historical Tour took place on October 10, 2010. Next year's tour will take place early fall. We look forward to seeing you and your family there. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 973-509-9707
