Are you ready to take your endurance running to the next level? Planning to run a marathon this fall? Whether you are running New York, Marine Corp, Bucks County or Philly (or anything in between), this 14-week program is perfect for a late October, November endurance race. Our program is great for endurance newbies as well as those returning to the distance to bust through plateaus! Experienced coaches and mentors will motivate, inspire and lead you on your journey to your marathon goals.

WORKOUT TIMES | LOCATIONS

Training Months - August thru November

  • Kick-Off / Info Meeting - Monday, July 16 @ 7:30pm
  • Interval/Speed Training - Tuesday Evenings, Foley Field @ 7:00pm and then 6pm (read on for details)
    • Please note the following:
      • Foley Field - August 7th and August 14th
      • Sessions move to Brookdale Park, Bloomfield - August 21st through October 30th with TIME CHANGE @ 6:30pm
  • Group Runs - Thursday Evenings, 6:00pm: First Session August 9th.
    • Meet at Fleet Feet Montclair
  • Long Supported Runs - Sundays, 7:00am: September 23rd, October 7th & October 21st
    • Meet at Fleet Feet Montclair

SUGGESTED ACTIVITY LEVEL

Registrants must be able to comfortably run or run/walk 8 miles consecutively at a 14 min/mile pace or faster; and, should be running a total of at least 20 miles weekly.

Program Start: Tuesday, August 7th
Program Schedule: Tuesdays, 6:30pm - Interval/Speed Training; Thursdays, 6:00pm - Group Runs; three designated Sunday Supported Long Runs
Program Fee: $199
Description: This 14-week program is designed to prepare runners for their first ever endurance event or to help seasoned runners meet a new performance goal. You'll be educated on marathon training principles including hydration and nutrition techniques, pacing interval and speed work and other key points.
